"We first engaged Camille Skovsgaard’s services in 2016 to design our new bedroom. She created a luxurious, peaceful, and functional space, cleverly maximising our wardrobe area while ensuring the room remained light and spacious.
Despite my very vague brief, Camille intuitively understood what I was after—offering colour palettes and design ideas I never would have imagined myself, but which I absolutely love. It felt like she reached into the chaos of my thoughts and brought clarity, translating it into a space I might have envisioned—if I had any design skills at all!

When time came to redesign our top floor to include a new bathroom, powder room, and a teenage retreat, it was an easy decision to work with Camille again—even from afar, with her directing the project remotely from Hong Kong. Once again, she was outstanding. She helped us create three beautiful, functional rooms where storage and space were optimised. Every morning, I walk into our bathroom and feel like I’ve stepped into a boutique luxury hotel.

In 2022, we engaged Camille once again to completely redesign our entertainment area, kitchen and bathroom on ground floor. Converting a guest bedroom into the bathroom and laundry, we now have a spacious bright entertainment area with a beautiful open kitchen which was designed perfectly to suit my love for cooking and entertaining around the big kitchen island. ​

Camille is an absolute pleasure to work with. She listens carefully, respects your wishes, and gently guides you when needed. What could have been a stressful process was made smooth and enjoyable thanks to her warm, supportive, and enthusiastic nature. From the outset, she provided inspiration through Pinterest boards, room mock-ups, detailed plans, and lists of shops, warehouses, and products to explore. Even while I was out shopping, Camille was just a FaceTime call away, ready to lend her expert eye. Her attention to detail is extraordinary. Nothing is ever too much trouble for Camille—she’s proactive, efficient, and always one step ahead, chasing suppliers and following up on details before you even realise there’s a delay.

“When I first met Camille, I was immediately inspired by her warmth, passion for interior design, and deep understanding of different client needs and budgets. Having never worked with an interior designer before, I had no idea how much time, effort, and stress they could save in the process.
Camille completely transformed the back end of our house, including the kitchen, living room, butler’s pantry, all bathrooms, and even reconfigured the upstairs layout to maximize space. And beyond all that, she made the entire process fun! Camille’s positive energy, enthusiasm, and ability to make even the most complex decisions feel exciting and stress-free turned what could have been an overwhelming experience into one we truly enjoyed.
